Planting🌺🌻🥕🌿 Tips & Products

Hey guys-Just finished planting an overwhelming amount of plants and flowers, and I sure am sweaty. This year, my mom, brother, and I..(well mostly my mom)..decided to plant our own vegetables! Of course, some things aren't as easy as it looks...yet it can be very rewarding when you see your plant thrive. From selecting the perfect soil to determining the perfect position and lighting to even getting all the needed supplies to the porch, can be a lot more work than indoor gardening. Of course, my mom did lots of the heavy work, but I could still see the effort :) My brother and I did help, mostly with planting the seeds, and watering. Here's everything we did, some tips I learnt, and products we personally used.

First off I'd like to say: SPRING IS BEAUTIFUL. As much as I love summer, spring is always beautiful and seriously picture-perfect. Here are some pics *yes I'm very obsessed with taking aesthetic, spring pics:)

AfterWe started off with getting the seeds: Lettuce, Cilantro, Lavender, Sunflower, and Carrots. We specifically got them from Lowes, I'm pretty sure..but you can find them online and at other stores like Home Depot, Lowes, Menards, etc. We also got germinated sweet banana peppers, and chili peppers from Menards..These are also easy to just plant in!

Then after searching for a few weeks, we found the perfect raised garden beds...we have TONS of rabbits, and other animals that always dig up our plants, and a raised garden bed is really nice to move around and keep away from those pesky animals. Yes, they might seem pretty expensive, but they are worth it in long haul!

The soil we used for these beds, I’ll put down below along with the link to the raised garden bed.
Yup, that’s pretty much it!  Some tips are, firstly, to always choose the right location if you are planting IN the ground-if it’s a raised garden bed it’s not too much of a problem as you can move it around according the the weather. Two, choose the right plants for you..not everybody has time to take care of high-maintenance plants. Or if your house gets a lot of sun during the daytime look for plants that can handle full sun for up to six hours or more. Pick wisely!
Hopefully, this inspires you to get your hands dirty(or not) and do some gardening! 🪴
