Spring Break Homecation- Fon Du Lac, WISCONSIN📸🌻

During spring break, we traveled to Fon Du Lac, Wisconsin..a small city, with a scenic view of Lake Winnebago. My family and some friends rented an Airbnb for a few days(Thurs-sun) and had a laid-back, and fun trip.

Starting with a three-hour drive from our house, we were bustling with energy...I mean who isn't when it comes to vacation? And as soon as we arrived, we were blown away by the beauty of the house and the view of the lake behind. I mean THE VIEW✨ was probably the best part!!
To begin our house was very child-friendly, meaning we had tons of board games, an art room, and much to do inside. I remember running around the house with my family friends, into every room, saying, "WOAHHHH"
The backyard was no exception..it was huge(an awesome place to play soccer), had a jungle gym playset, and of course THE VIEW. Yes, you'll hear and see lots of pictures of 'the view' :)
    But enough of the house...

Day 1; Thursday
After an exhausting ride, we didn't do much the first day. The weather wasn't really good either, so we relaxed, talked, and played games.
My highlight of the day: Pizza and Mafia
That afternoon, for lunch, we had pizza...which for some reason was one of the highlights of my day! I mean, I was pretty hungry so it tasted really good ;)
Then came evening, and we all sat together and played MAFIA. Which was a bit problematic...
We kept mistaking who was who, and whenever the moderator would say "(Mafia/Doctor/Detective) who do you think it is", someone would always counter with a, "hmmm"
That was the fun part though, we laughed a lot!!

    Day 2:Friday
The weather on Friday was better than the previous day, allowing us time outside! That morning everyone was fresh, and as the parents drank tea..us kids planned out games. We saw many eagles and actually spotted a nest nearby. I got to rollerskate, and one of my friends got a hoverboard, which was put to good use by my brother and him.
My highlight of the day: Pass the Truth or Dare
This was one of the games my friend and I planned for everyone to play...it was a combination of passing the parcel and truth or dare: Basically, whoever had the ball grabbed a truth/dare from the basket. It was hilarious!
                                                  Day 3: Saturday/Last night
We did lots on Saturday, as the parents didn't have any work and the weather was beautiful. It was also our last full day, so we wanted to enjoy it all! That morning we played soccer and hung out outside before coming in for brunch. After that, we visited a nearby park with a pretty view of Lake Winnebago and a lighthouse. My highlight of the day: icecream!🍦The hot weather inspired us to get...ICECREAM!! Yes, it was so delicious and definitely my highlight.
Last day of spring break, Sunday:
We were all, of course, sad to leave...
That morning we checked out, and drove back home. Spending time with my family and friends inside our house, and enjoying the spring weather was a great way to have a relaxed vacation that brings tons of memories!
