Making Friday nights more special!🍿🎥
Friday nights. Ahh, the night where you can kick back your feet, watch a movie, and order some takeout without worrying about work! Well, Friday nights have somehow lost its special feeling . . . . everyday bleeds into the next making Friday nights more boring and like every single other night of the week. So? How can you change that up? How can you make your Friday night amazing with your family? Most of these suggestions are for families. If you are single and live alone, comment down below if you'd like me to make a post of things to do alone on Friday nights! Now let's get started!
1. Disney Plus
If you're like me and love to watch Disney, Pixar, or even Marvel, get Disney Plus! Disney Plus has the action movies that your brother and dad might like and the fun, cartoons, or comedy films you might enjoy! There are so many movies and shows to choose from. We usually spend our Friday evening relaxing on the couch watching a movie (we love the oldie but goldie section!), and enjoying our dinner at the same time!
2. Board Games/ Card Games
Have a family challenge and play a fun board game or card game and see who wins! My family and I are currently obsessed with Catan and Rummy. Whenever we have time during the evenings, we sit down and have some fun! If you don't have many board games, or card games, read what's next!
3. Online fun?
A lot of us have access to computers, or different devices in our house. There are so many games to play online with the family like trivia, kahoot, scattegories, pictionary, virtual escape rooms, and more! This is also really great if your family is split apart in quarantine, and you can't come together to meet! Just call some friends, or family and have a blast playing these online games =)
4. "Do it yourself" Dinners!
If you can't order takeout during this time, here's a fun idea! Bring the whole family to the kitchen, and try to make dinner together! You can find so many step by step recipes online if you're not sure what to make as well. Making dinner together with your family can be a blast . . . its even more exciting to see the end result!
I hope you liked seeing some of these suggestions, and enjoy your friday night!
